Mechanical Design Engineer — Liquid Cooling
Design and develop stainless steel liquid cooling components for data center applications — manifolds, headers, CDU assemblies. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD. Exposure to ASME B31.3 piping design preferred.

Thermal modelling, CFD analysis, and system-level design for liquid cooling loops serving AI and HPC data centers. Experience with heat exchanger sizing, CDU thermodynamics, and two-phase cooling systems a strong plus.

Design and implement controls, instrumentation, and SCADA/BMS integration for CDU and cooling loop systems. PLC programming, sensor selection, alarm management, and data logging for critical cooling infrastructure.

Skilled fabrication of stainless steel pipe assemblies, manifolds, and structural components for data center liquid cooling systems. Reading engineering drawings, fit-up, and assembly. AWS D1.6 welding certification preferred.

Program, operate, and maintain robotic MIG/TIG welding systems for stainless steel fabrication. Fanuc or KUKA robot programming experience required. Understanding of welding metallurgy for 304/316L stainless steel essential.

Set up and operate CNC tube laser cutting machines (BLM, Trumpf, or equivalent). Program cut files, manage material loading, perform first-off inspections, and maintain cutting parameters for stainless steel tube and section profiles.

Lead the commissioning of liquid cooling systems at data center sites. System flushing, pressure testing, CDU startup, instrumentation calibration, and client handover. Extensive domestic travel required. Prior data center or industrial commissioning experience essential.

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on liquid cooling systems in live data centers. Coolant sampling, filter changes, CDU servicing, loop flushing, particle count testing per ISO 14644, and compliance reporting. DCIM or BMS familiarity a plus.

In-process and final inspection of stainless steel fabrications to ASTM and ASME standards. Weld visual inspection to AWS D1.6 criteria, dimensional inspection, material certification review, and test record management. CSWIP or equivalent certification preferred.
